Balasore: A group of six unidentified men robbed a hotel at gunpoint late on Sunday making away with more than Rs 1 lakh.
A complaint regarding the crime was lodged by the owner of the hotel named Rabi Plaza located near National Highway under Khantapada police station limits.
According to the complainant, the looters came on two motorcycles, stormed into the hotel and held the employees at gunpoint. They ransacked furniture, window panes and decamped with the cash and valuables.
Police have started investigation on the basis of the complaint and statements of the staff.
