While Delhi-Bhubaneswar-Delhi Indigo flight has been diverted, AI077 Bhubaneswar-New Delhi of the Air India, 6E726 Kolkata-Bhubaneswar-Guwahati Indigo flight, 6E157 Chennai-Bhubaneswar-Bengaluru Indigo flight, 6E583 Kochi-Bhubaneswar-Kochi Indigo flight and 6E375 Kolkata-Bhubaneswar-Mumbai Indigo flight have been delayed.

Due to poor visibility, minor road accidents in the city have also been  reported. While a man sustained minor injuries after colliding with an auto-rickshaw at the Damana Chhak in Chandrasekharpur, another person was injured after his scooter collided with a bike at KIIT Square near Patia.

In Cuttack, vehicular traffic was disrupted due to the dense fog. Plying of buses from the Badambadi bus stand was delayed as there was no visibility beyond 50 metres.

Informing the media on Saturday, a senior official of the Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar said the southerly wind blowing from the sea had created the foggy condition in the entire coastal belts, which will continue for the next 48 hours.
