Going Away From Everyone: Sambalpur Album Artist’s Last Message

Sambalpur: Even as her family cried ‘murder’, the last voice message of album artist Simran Singh doing the rounds on social media platforms hinted at a possible suicide angle.

According to sources, Simran can be heard crying in the voice message to a male friend, who is yet to be identified, and claiming that she was mentally depressed and going away from everyone.

“I am broken from inside. I would have left everything to come with you had you told me once to take me to your home. Wish you had made efforts to save the relationship. Be happy. I am going away…away from my family and everyone,” she can be heard saying in the voice message.

The actor had sent the one minute and 18 seconds long audio message to her friend through Whatsapp, before being found dead under Mahanadi Bridge near Goira Matha in Sambalpur on Thursday morning.
The 20-year-old, who gained popularity for Sambalpuri music video ‘Selfie Bebo’, had reportedly tied the nuptial knot with Yug, a youth from Balangir, recently.
In a police complaint after identifying her body, her family members had alleged that she was murdered by her husband and the body later dumped under the bridge.
Meanwhile, Balangir police have detained Yuga at Belpada police station for interrogation.
