Rourkela: The Income Tax officials raided the house and offices of a mine owner in Rourkela on Friday morning.
According to sources, the Income Tax officials raided the house of the owner of Indrani Patnaik Mines in the Steel City. Apart from this, simultaneous raids are underway in several offices of the mines in Rourkela, Keonjhar and other places in the state.
The raids are being conducted in connection with the evasion of income tax by the owner of the mine, the sources added.
