Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a thunderstorm and lightning alert for nine districts of Odisha from 7.15 pm to 10.15 pm on Friday.
The latest Met bulletin said moderate thunderstorm, lightning with light to moderate rainfall is likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Kandhamal, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Angul, Dhenkanal and Jajpur.
