Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) Centre has issued lightning and thunderstorm alert for 11 districts of Odisha on Thursday.
In an evening release, the Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar said that thunderstorm and lightning would occur at one or two places in Sundargarh, Deogarh, Dhenkanal, Angul, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Koraput, Kandhamal, Malkangiri and Ganjam districts.
“People of these districts are advised to stay indoors till 1.30 pm,” the release added.
