Bhubaneswar: The girl, who was detained in connection with Unmay Padhi murder case, approached the cyber police station in Cuttack on Saturday seeking an impartial probe into the case. She also requested the police to destroy the video clip featuring her along with Unmay that had gone viral last year.
The girl, along with her male friend and Unmay’s brother were picked up by police for questioning in connection with the case on March 24. Police have started inquiry on basis of the allegation made by Unmay’s family that he was murdered over the obscene video clip.
The post-mortem report of the deceased, whose half-charred body was recovered from Kuakhai riverbed on March 21, hinted at involvement of multiple people in the murder.
