Kendujhar: A man died while his wife sustained critical injuries when the wall of their house at Bedasahi village under Ghasipura block in Keonjhar collapsed due to incessant rain late on Monday.
The deceased was identified as Bhaskar Dehuri.
His wife Tilotama Dehuri has been admitted to Anandpur hospital for treatment.
According to available information, the incident took place when the elderly couple was sleeping inside their house. A portion of wall of the house collapsed and fell on them.
Hearing noises, some neighbours rushed to the spot and managed to rescue Tilotama.
