Bhubaneswar: Odisha has been selected for Commendation Award under total foodgrains category II for the year 2016-17, a release from the office of Union Minister of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Radha Mohan Singh said.
The Union Minister congratulated his state counterpart Pradeep Maharathy and other officials of the state Agriculture Department, via the letter.
The award of Rs 1 crore will be distributed at Krishi Unnati Mela likely to be held in February—March 2019.
