Bhubaneswar: The offline test of the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) began in the state on Saturday.
About 29,000 students are appearing in the test at 53 centres in 20 cities.
The test will be held in two sittings. The first sitting with three-hour duration began at 9 am. As per the schedule, the B.Pharm test will be held from 9 am to 12 pm while iMBA, lateral entry to B.Pharm and B.Tech will be held between 9 am and 10 am.
In the second sitting (2 pm to 4 pm), the test for the lateral entry to B.Tech for diploma students will be held.
Talking to the media, OJEE chairperson Sudeep Kumar Chand said the earlier admit card provided to the students will be considered valid.
Notably, the OJEE Board had earlier fixed the schedule for the test on May 12. However, it later rescheduled the test on May 18 due to the Cyclone Fani.
