Cuttack: A person was killed and two other suffered severe burn injuries in cracker explosion near Harichandanpur village in Salepur of Cuttack district on Wednesday.
The victims hailing from Patapur village in the district were making crackers in a thatched house when the explosion took place. Two persons were critically injured and admitted to SCB Medical College and Hospital for treatment. However, one among them succumbed to the injuries while undergoing treatment.
The house where the crackers were being made was completely gutted in the mishap.
