Balangir: Some stray dogs were found feeding on a stillborn baby near Mahimunda at Pudapali village under Puintala police limits of Balangir on Thursday.
Sources said that residents spotted the infant’s mutilated body and informed the police, who reached the spot and began investigations. It is suspected that the infant was dumped by its parents on Wednesday night.
Sources said the stray dogs had consumed the stillborn’s body from waist to feet.
