Rourkela: Police on Thursday arrested a youth for allegedly raping a four-year-old girl after luring her with chocolates in Sundargarh district.
The accused has been identified as Sanjay Dungdung (30) of Goppur village under Raiboga police limits of the district.
According to sources, Sanjay took to a nearby school playground on the pretext of buy her chocolates on Wednesday evening and raped her, following which she lost consciousness.
The girl was later rescued by locals and admitted to a nearby hospital. She was then shifted to Ispat General Hospital (IGH) as her condition deteriorated, the sources added.
