Mumbai: Bollywood actor Ananya Panday, who was summoned by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) after her name surfaced in one of the Whatsapp chats of Aryan Khan, had apparently agreed to arrange ‘ganja’ for him.
NCB sources said Aryan Khan asked Ananya Pandey ‘if ganja can be arranged,” and she replied in the affirmative, DNA India reported.
According to India Today, when NCB showed this chat to Ananya on Thursday during the questioning, she replied, “I was just joking.”
The two were found talking about narcotics substances on different occasions, the sources added.
Meanwhile, the actor has reached the NCB office for another round of questioning. Zonal director of the agency Sameer Wankhede is likely to grill Ananya about drug peddlers.
On the other hand, the judicial custody of Aryan Khan was extended till October 30 on Thursday by a special court in the drugs-on-cruise case. His bail plea will be heard by the Bombay High Court on October 26.
