Mumbai: Himalaya Dasani, the husband of actor Bhagyashree of ‘Maine Pyaar Kiya’ fame, was arrested in connection with a gambling racket in Jogeshwari on Tuesday.
Dasani, an actor-turned-producer, was picked up from his home and produced before a local court. The court granted him bail. His name had cropped up during an interrogation related to a gambling racket, said reports.
Dasani had made his debut in the film “Payal” in 1992.
Bhagyashree, who rose to fame with the Salman Khan starrer, “Maine Pyaar Kiya”, had quit the industry after marrying Dasani. Their son Abhimanyu Dasani recently made his Bollywood debut in Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota.
