Konark: In a shocking incident, a man allegedly strangulated his daughter to death at Kuruma village in Konark on Tuesday. The deceased has been identified as Kandhei.
Rabindra Pradhan killed his daughter by strangulating her with a scarf, alleged his son Rakesh. Rabindra’s sister has also testified to the fact. Rabindra, however said that his daughter committed suicide.
According to sources, Kandhei and Rakesh are children from Rabindra’s first wife. Rakesh also alleged that Rabindra used to beat them. The incident took place when Rakesh had gone to a relative’s house. On being informed, police reached the spot and started investigation into the matter.
