Bhubaneswar: Here’s an opportunity for married women to be crowned as Mrs Odisha 2018, a beauty contest scheduled to be held in Odisha capital soon.
“I have come across many talented gorgeous married women. This is what motivated us to organise a beauty contest to boost their spirits,” said Kumudini.
Women spoken for, from any corner of Odisha can participate in the beauty contest by registering for it.
“The participants will be groomed for three days prior to the contest on how to carry themselves with aplomb, walk on the ramp and interact with people,” she said.
They will be judged in four rounds – introduction, talent show, designer wear and final round. Elimination will start from second round.
The top 15 contestants will sashay down the ramp draped in sarees, styled by professional make-up artists. “The winner will get Rs 10,000 cash award along with a crown and citation. Talks are on to provide the top three contestants a chance to shoot for advertisements,” added the organiser.
The competition will be held at end of May. The dates will be announced soon.
