Dhenkanal: A youth was killed after being hit by an unidentified vehicle at Kamakshyanagar in Dhenkanal district on Saturday. The deceased was identified as Kalia Singh.
Following the incident, a group of villagers staged a road blockade demanding compensation for family members of the deceased.
The road blockade was lifted after the district administration assured to provide compensation of Rs 10,000 to family members of the deceased.
