Nilagiri: A youth was injured after being attacked by a wild bear at Nilagiri area in Balasore district on Thursday.
The victim was identified as Bijay Singh. The incident took place while he was returning home from a nearby field. Hearing his screams, some villagers came to his rescue and rushed him to Nilagiri hospital. His condition is stated to be critical.
On August 31, a man was injured in a bear attack at Samarasingh village under Korana block in Nuapada district.
